Man found not guilty of killing former volunteer fire chief in Hardeeville

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (WTOC) - A man has been found not guilty of murder charges stemming from a deadly shooting in Hardeeville in 2017, according to the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.

Devon Dunham, 30, was charged with killing 77-year-old Ernest Martin Stevens on Ulman Street. Again, Dunham has been found not guilty on all charges.

Stevens was a former Hardeeville volunteer fire chief.
