EVANS COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Evans County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Canoochee River on Thursday after a boat overturned near the Rock River Landing.
They say three men were on the boat. Two men swam to safety, but the third man was unaccounted for.
Law enforcement responded to the scene and divers found the man’s body shortly after.
The victim’s name has not been released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
