TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) - One man is dead after jumping off the pier and drowning on Tybee Island late Tuesday night.
The U.S. Coast Gaurd says the man possibly got caught in the waves after jumping off the pier.
Savannah Fire and the Coast Gaurd assisted in the search and say the man was found deceased on the shore around 11:30 p.m.
This incident remains under investigation and we will continue to bring you updates on-air and online.
