Community gathered in Darien to march for racial justice on Hwy. 17

Close to 100 march peacefully down Hwy 17 in Darien to call for racial justice in the community in response to the killing of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and more.

The group marched all the way to the McIntosh courthouse and said a prayer for racial injustice. They then continued the gathering in a nearby park where speakers came up and people enjoyed food and music.

Ahmaud Arbery's family was in attendance.

Law enforcement was also present to ensure safety, marchers thanked them for that.
