Savannah PD suspends training, use of neck restraint technique

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah Police Chief Roy Minter announced Wednesday that the department will suspend training and stop use of a neck restraint technique.

According to Chief Minter, the Savannah Police Department will no longer train or use the Bilateral Neck Restraint Technique moving forward.
