Republican Candidate For Governor Brian Kemp Attends Election Night Event In Athens, Georgia

Today Governor Brian Kemp issued an Executive Order, authorizing sheriffs to enforce the provisions of Executive Order involving businesses, establishments, for-profit corporations, non-profit corporations, and organizations.

Last night, Kemp had issued a statement (Executive Order announcing a statewide “shelter in place” order as a way to address the spread of COVID-19 across the Peach State. The order went into effect Friday, April 3rd at 6 p.m. and will last until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 13.
