Akon recently appeared in an interview with Ak and Barak on SiriusXM Radio and defended him collaborating with Tekashi 6ix9ine. He believes that the Brooklyn rapper didn't get to tell his whole side of the story even though he explained that Nine Trey kidnapped him in his hometown in the summer of 2018. “If you’ve ever been locked up and you understand what its like to be behind bars, if you understand the environment of a prison system or a jail system, you would know that more than 80% of the people locked up in jail are snitches. And if they ain’t, they’re definitely already cooperating with the police or the feds as we speak.”
