Port Royal bust nets drugs, guns, arrest

PORT ROYAL, S.C. (WSAV) – Police in Port Royal carried out a big weekend drug bust.

It unfolded Saturday afternoon when an officer spotted a suspicious vehicle, conducted a DMV check and discovered a suspended registration.

According to the Port Royal Police Department, the officer pulled the car over and found containers typically used to conceal narcotics.

Woman arrested in Hardeeville sex trafficking investigation

A K-9 unit from the Beaufort Police Department helped police find more than 5 grams of fentanyl, 15 grams of crack cocaine and 12 grams of marijuana, along with two guns, ammunition, syringes and other drug paraphernalia.

A Beaufort woman was arrested on multiple charges.
