New research from Royal Canin dog food found that it takes the average person looking for a pet four months and 20 days to find their furry friend. 50% said they went to three or more shelters while looking for a pet and spent six and a half hours a week scrolling through pet adoption sites. When they finally found the perfect pet, 60% said it was “love at first sight.” 63% said their pet is their four-legged soulmate.
