This is interesting … Seems people are taking advantage of having to wear masks – and getting plastic surgery. A story in the New York Postrevealed that plastic surgery procedures are up in the city – because you don’t have to stay home to hide stitches, bruising or any healing from having work done.
Aja Carthon, a 24-year-old teacher told the Post that being able to wear a mask during recovery was the kick she needed to finally get the nose job and chin augmentation she had been dreaming about. “I definitely would not have been sociable if it weren’t for the mask,” she said. “But I did coffee and dinner with friends, I went to a backyard party … no one suspected anything.”
