Savannah Police Department enforce social distancing with talking drones

Governor Brian Kemp issued a shelter-at-home order and Savannah officials are taking that order seriously.

The Savannah Police Department is using five drones to keep an eye on Savannah. Two of the drones are being used to enforce social distancing with pre-recorded messages that read, "Due to the current health emergency, members of the public are reminded to keep a safe distance of six feet from others."

The idea is to help officers stay safe as well as the public.
