Kim Kardashian Says She Was Bleeding After On-Camera Fight With Kourtney

Keeping Up with the Kardashians made a splashy return with a heated fight between Kim and Kourtney. In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show: Home Edition, the former spoke about the viral scene, admitting that production on season 18 was shut down for a week after the tense ordeal.

"It was intense," the reality TV heavyweight, 39, told Jimmy Fallon. "I don't really ever resort to violence like that. But she scratched me so hard, you couldn't see, but I was bleeding. And so you didn't really get see that detail [on the show]. When I looked down at my arm and saw she had had really scratched me and I felt it on my back, I just, you know, went over and slapped her back," she added. "It's not like my proudest moment but we were going through it. We shut down production for a week after that. Everyone was really shook for a minute and just was like, 'This isn't like our type of show.' We want everyone to be comfortable and safe."

Unsurprisingly, their mother, Kris Jenner, was moved to tears after watching her daughters fight. "When my mom saw that, a clip of that, she cried," Kim recalled. "She was like, 'What is going on? Who are you guys?’”

Later in the interview, Kim went on to admit that she and Kourtney are "obviously" fine now, but confirmed that her sister did indeed stop filming the E! reality series. "I think she really needs it. I think that will be so much better for her," she added.

Expect more from Keeping Up with the Kardashians when the season continues on Thursday nights at 8 PM ET.
