Aspiring Rapper Attempts To Rob Wingstop To Get Owner Rick Ross' Attention

An aspiring rapper thought of a "brilliant" way to get discovered. Unfortunately, it landed him behind bars.

A 23-year-old man by the name of Cedric Miller attempted to rob a Wingstop in Memphis, Tennessee because he wanted to get the attention of its owner, Rick Ross. The restaurant's general manager Elma Allen confirmed this bizarre try to be acknowledged by the hip hop superstar to Memphis' news channel 3

WREG showed the surveillance video of the attempted burglary taking place on Friday (Jan. 5). Then, on Monday (Jan. 8), Miller was taken into custody. "A Wingstop employee positively identified Miller in a lineup of six people. MPD then arrested him, according to arrest documents," the outlet reports.

“That’s a ridiculous way to get someone’s attention. How are you going to get his attention after sitting in jail?" customer Cameron Blaine told WREG. A second customer named Huron Wilson added: “It could [get his attention] but I don’t know if he is going to get signed if that’s the case. I doubt it.”
