Kim Kardashian teams up with singer Monica in fight to free rapper C-Murder

n her latest effort to reform the criminal justice system, Kim Kardashian is seeking the release of New Orleans rapper Corey “C-Murder” Miller, who has maintained his innocence in a 2002 murder.

Miller – the brother of rap superstar Percy “Master P” Miller – was convicted in 2009 and is serving a life sentence in the Louisiana State Penitentiary for killing a 16-year-old fan, Steve Thomas, in 2002 at a nightclub, WDSU reported.

“The jury convicted Corey 10-2 and he was sentenced him to life in prison. If his trial was today, the jury would have had to be unanimous for him to be convicted,”Kardasiahn said in a series of tweets on Sunday."
