Lil Wayne is being sued for $1 million over his high-flying lifestyle. Miami company Signature Group LLC claims the Young Money frontman owes the money for a Gulfstream jet he leased.
Wayne and his entourage used the aircraft in 2013 and part of this year for domestic and international flights, including a European tour. They even requested several upgrades to the jet, including satellite telephones, a custom bed and medical equipment.
But Young Money claims they have no money. The company's attorney released a statement saying, "We have multiple text messages from [Wayne's] management team...stating that they have 'no money' to pay the bills currently, contrary to the earlier and repeated promises to pay."
TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- Those upgrades sound suspect. Did they mean a custom promethazine and codeine dispenser?
- So you're saying Young Money really has no money? Yikes.
