A hip-hop pioneer celebrated a major milestone this past weekend -- MC Lyte got married in Montego, Jamaica.
The femcee and veteran TV host, who is 46, tied the knot over the weekend with John Wyche, an ex-Marine and entrepreneur. The wedding, which Essence described as “intimate and soulful,” took place at the Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort. Lyte met Wyche online.
Kelly Price sang and DJ Jermaine kept the guests dancing. The ceremony was attended by Lil Mama, YoYo and Coko of SWV.
