"Rolling Stone" is putting Kanye West's Yeezus at the top of its list of the "20 Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2013."
The magazine previously named Yeezus the second best album of the year. Citing the project's "hypertense egomania" and "hostile vibes," "Rolling Stone" calls Yeezus Kanye's "most extreme album ever."
Drake's third venture Nothing Was The Same was named the runner-up, followed by Danny Brown's Old. Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP 2 and Chance The Rappers' Acid Rap round out the top five.
Other artists whose albums made the year-end list are Jay Z, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller and French Montana.
